Bartels in the Antigo Daily JOurnal and I did find an obituary. I only found something on H.C. the obituary was Dec. 18, 1920 and reads "H.C. Bartles. Crandon Republican-H.C. Bartels, a former Crandon resident for many years died at his home in Battle Creek Mich last Saturday Dec. 11, according to a telegram received by his brother-in-law A.E. Lovelace of this city. Deceased was about sixty-two years of age and leaves a wife and two sons, Clarence and Harry to survive him. The Bartels family moved to Michigan last June because the sons were employed there. Death was the result of paralysis from which Mr. Bartels has been suffering for several weeks. Henry C. Bartles was born in Peshtigo Wis. on February 16, 1858 where he lived until the time of his marriage to Carrie E. Lovelace of Antigo Wis. They moved to south of Harriman Ten in 1890 and resided there for about seven years, when they returned to Antigo. In 1903 the family located in Crandon and made their home there until last June. Besides a wife and two sons, Mr. Bartels is survived by four brothers, Christ and George of Peshtigo, and Charles and John of Marinette; and two sisters Mrs Eliza Colburn of Faith Horn Mich and Mrs. Sophia Hunington of Oshkosh. The body was brought to this ciey for burial by his son Harry on Wednesday afternoon and funeral services were conducted at the Lovelace home Thursday morning, Rev. C.A. (sorry I am not sure if Henry Nulls is the father's full name. Will try to check the next time I go to Town.) They were married in the Methodist Church the Witness was Anna Howrth.
