My mom and your grandfather, were brother and sister. To my knowledge, no one knows who Grandma Wierschke's father was. My mom told me that Grandma was raised by her mother Maria's parents because Maria was not married when she gave birth to grandma. Maria later married and died after giving birth to a son. Someone told grandma that Maria was her mother after Maria died. This is what my mom had told me. And Grandma Wierschke died Nov. 19, 1977 not 1979.
