Author: Brett_Hardesty Surnames: Nelson Drew Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.wisconsin.counties.langlade/1294/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have a man named John Nelson born unknown date in Sweden parents are Andrew and Annie unknown Nelson according to his marriage record,he married Myrtle Drew in Forest county WI. in 1902,they had a child born in January 1905 in Langlade,by the 1905 state census Myrtle is widowed living in Elcho Langlade with her mother.The trouble is where is Johns death record,its not in Langlade apparently or at least doesnt show up in indexes,there are several John Nelsons that died in that time period but not near Langlade,any suggestions?perhaps men in that area went elsewhere to work? I was curious if anyone has listings of Langlade cemetery records specifically for Elcho?perhaps hes in there or maybe there would be an obituary?
