He had been in failing health for several months and became seriously ill three weeks ago. Mr. Draeger was born Mar. 22, 1876, in the town of Wolf River near Fremont and moved with his family to Antigo when he was seven years old. He retired two years ago after a long career as a saw filer. His marriage to Emma Burish took place Oct. 18, 1898, in Antigo and the couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary two years ago. Mr. Draeger was a member of St. Mary's church and the Holy Name society. Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Clara Shebuski of Donken, Mich., Mrs. Norma Glugla, Mrs. Helen Gehr and Mrs. Hilda Roehrig of Antigo, and Mrs. Mayme Hanke of Tomahawk; three sons, William, Edward and Carl of Antigo; 31 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ed Froehlich of Antigo. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rev. Cyril Kabat will officiate and burial will be in the Antigo cemetery. Friends may call at the McCandless & Zobel funeral home from this evening until time of services. The rosary will be said Tuesday night at 8 o'clock.
