RAESS DIES SUDDENLY SATURDAY NIGHT Anton C. Raess, 58, 131 Park street, died suddenly of a heart condition Saturday night at 11 o'clock in a taxicab en route to his home. Mr. Raess was employed in Antigo as a lather and shingler. He was born in this city Oct. 22, 1891 and lived here all his life. He was married Aug. 3, 1912 to Emma Hays who died five years ago. Surviving are one daughter, Betty of Appleton; three sons, Roy of Appleton, Anthony of Antigo and John of Lily; and two brothers, George of Chicago and Ed of Great Falls, Mont. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Soman funeral home, the Rev. Keith Epps oficiating. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from now until time of services.
