H. P. Freeling officiating. Burial services were held at Manitowoc Wednesday afternoon, Evangelist Pearl Bieble being in charge. Frank Ryder was born at Manitowoc, December 17, 1858, and died September 26, 1932. At the age of fourteen years he entered the butcher trade with the late John Pitz of Manitowoc, and at eighteen he opened his own shop. In 1904 he came to Antigo, where he continued his vocation until 1929, when he retired from active business. Mr. Ryder was united in marriage with Margaret Kohlman, at Manitowoc, in 1879. His widow, two daughters, and two sons survive him. The children are: Mrs. William Leslie, Hammond, Indiana, and Miss Corrine Ryder of this city; Joseph, Manitowoc; and Leo, city. Four sisters and one brother, all of Manitowoc, also survive, together with seven grand children and one great grandchild. The sisters are: Mrs. Leon Kadow, Mrs. Jacob Stueber, Mrs. Martin Quker, Mrs. Jacob Dirkman, and his brother, Paul.
