Weber, Wausau, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 95 years old. She was born May 1, 1910 in the town of Rolling, daughter of the late Anton and Rosa (Fuchs) Weber. On March 4, 1935, she married John Weber at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. He preceded her in death July 4, 1975. Mrs. Weber and her husband farmed in the town of Plover for more than 40 years. In 1980, she moved to Wausau, where she lived independently for 25 years. She was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. After moving to Wausau, she joined St. Mary Catholic Church and later joined the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, where she was a member of the Ministry of Praise and the Serra Club. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, crocheting afghans, German cooking, volunteering, reading and crossword puzzles. Cheering on the Packers and making new friends were also important to her. Survivors include four children, Agnes (Roger) Stieber, Tomahawk-Florida, Francis W. (special friend, Nancy Blaschka) Weber, Mosinee, Margaret (Tom) Kerkes, Wausau, and Pauline (Jeffrey) Wergin, South Beloit, Ill., 12 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John A. Weber, a granddaughter, Diane (Weber) Anderson, a great-grandson, Elliot Stieber, three sisters, Anna Andraschko, Rose Meidl and Pauline Heinrich, and a brother, Anthony Weber. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. Rev. Stephen Gross will preside. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery, Aniwa. Visition will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. The Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau is assisting the family with arrangements.
