Schleinz, 92, an area native, died at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. She was born Jan. 14, 1890, in Phlox, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Goodwill who were pioneer residents of the area. On June 7, 1917, she married Anton G. Schleinz in Phlox. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1970. Mrs. Schleinz resided in Phlox, Antigo, and Aniwa until 1977 when she moved to West De Pere to live with her daughter. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Jean) Schumacher of West De Pere and Mrs. Bernard (Marjorie) Verhasselt of Eden, Wis.; two sons, Kenneth of Antigo and Jerry of Marysville, Calif.; 26 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cyril (Aurelia) Leslie and Mrs. Anton (Lucille) Holup, both of Antigo; and a brother, Ray of Neopit. A son, eight sisters, two brothers, two grandchildren and a great grandchild preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church. Rev. James Golembeski will officiate and burial will be in Queen of Peace cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at McCandless-Zobel & Bradley funeral home where a parish wake service will begin at 7 p.m. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
