Sylvia's daughter, Lucy Culver, is my great-grandmother. I think her maiden name was Prouty, rather than Pouty, although I have seen the Pouty spelling in trees on ancestry.com. I have a small ring that had belonged to "Grandma Van Orman" that she gave to either my grandmother or my mom back in the day... Mom was about 10 when she died, so I'm not sure if she gave it directly to Mom, or to Grandma. I sure enjoy having it. One puzzle we haven't been able to solve is where Sylvia is buried.
