She was 92 years old. She was born on Oct. 1, 1910 in Antigo, a daughter of the late Jacob and Bibiana (Legro) Kloida. On April 23, 1935, she married Albert Banczak in Antigo. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1981. Mrs. Banczak graduated from Antigo High School in 1926. She and her husband operated a dairy farm in the town of Ackley. She was a member of SS. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Congregation and the Eau Claire Riverview Women's Club. Survivors include a son and a daughter, Jerry (Bernice) Banczak and Lois (James) MacDonald, all of Antigo, 12 grandchildren, Robert (Roxanne) and Amy MacDonald, Antigo, James (Carla) and Michael MacDonald, all of Wausau, Craig Banczak and Patti (Todd) Lucht, all of Antigo, Susan (Keith) Raab, Antigo, Jeffrey (Kim) Banczak, Wausau, Melanie (Marty) Glatczak, Antigo, Jean (Tom) Koppa, Waukee, Iowa, Julie (John) Zollpriester, Gleason, and Laurie (Scott) Marshall, Charlotte, Mich.; 13 great grandchildren, Christina and Kayla Koppa, Amanda Marshall, Nicholas, Brianna, Brent and J.C. MacDonald, Brittany and Brandon Lucht, Alexandra Cramer, and Kevin[,] Ashley and Mackenzie Raab; a sister-in-law, Sister Sophie Banczak, Stevens Point, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Banczak was preceded in death by a great grandson, Kyle Lucht, five sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. Rev. Jeremiah Worman will officiate. Burial will be in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Banczak's name. The Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
