Gipp, 60, a resident of Pickerel the past 10 years, died at 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at his home in Pickerel. He had been in failing health for some time. He was born Feb. 12, 1885, in Shawano. He came to Pickerel 10 years ago from Montana. He was a retired farmer. On July 27, 1910, he was married to Margaret Stoehr at Grehsam. He was a member of the Catholic church. Surviving are his wife at Pickerel; four daughters, Florence, at home, Mrs. William Loehning (Dorothy), Crane Lake, Mrs. Melvin Braun (Frances), Dayton, O., and Edwina at home; two brothers, Rudolph and Albert of Bonduel; and his mother, Mrs. Bertha Gipp of Bonduel. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock Monday morning at St. John's chuch with burial in the Antigo cemetery.
