Born in Germany on Nov. 11, 1889 he came to the United States when six years old, settlign at Elmhurst. For the past 35 years he has made his home at Elcho. He was married to Miss Josephine Blodgett, who survives. He also leaves four children, Robert of Alhambra, Calif.; Lee of Racine; Mrs. Gloria Carlson of Milwaukee; and Mrs. Joyce Kieslich of Elcho; and six grandchildren. One brother preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at the Congregational church at Elcho at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. J. P. Pennington will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot at Elcho. Friends may call at the Muttart-Conrad funeral home from 2 o'clock Tuesday until 1 o'clock Wednesday when the body will be taken to the church at Elcho for the funeral services.
