One of the most prominent doctors in Antigo between 1910 and 1940 was Dr. John C. Wright. He delivered hundreds of babies, who growup in the town, and provided medical care to most of the citizens. Doc Wright and his beloved wife Rose lived at 412 5th Avenue in Antigo. They had 7 children; John Jesse, Bay, Grace, Mary, Kathleen, Ham and Dick. All went to Antigo High School.
