Charles is supposed to be a cousin of Chauncey Vaughan. They both settled in Langlade County in the mid 1870's. Charles had a son, Reuben Vaughn who married Chauncey's stepdaughter Harriet Olive Joslyn Vaughan. I have much information on Chauncey and Reuben's family history but nothing on Charles' family except he had a son Reubon and possibly a daughter Helen. His wifes name may have been Prudence.
