Mr. Fronek was born April 1, 1927 in the town of Ackley, a son of the late James and Emily (Lhotan) Fronek. He married the former Lillian Anstutz on Sept. 8, 1948 in Antigo. She survives. A lifelong town of Ackley resident, Mr. Fronek attended Longfellow School and was a cash crop farmer. He also operated a tractor and auto repair business. He was a member of the Shepherd Diesel Club and United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Fronek and her husband, Bruce Kowalski of Thurmont, Md.; two sons, Dale (Nancy) of Antigo and Roger (Bonnie) of Oshkosh; two brothers, James Budzileni of Chicago, Ill. and Frank Fronek of Houston; and three grandchildren, Marie, Matthew and Mary Lynn. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church. Rev. Bernadette Bruner will officiate. Burial will be in Bohemian National Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Strasser Funeral Home and Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
