Mrs. Fronek was born on April 25, 1918 in Antigo a daughter of the late Ernest and Martha Frisch. She married Norman Fronek on Sept. 9, 1939 at Peace Lutheran Church, Antigo. He survives. Mrs. Fronek attended Peace Lutheran and Antigo Public Schools. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and its Dorcas Society, Noteblenders singing group, a former member of Sweet Adelines and Peace Lutheran Choir. She was also a 4-H leader and volunteer at Kettle Bowl Ski Area. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James (Diane) Block, Spring Valley, Minn. and Mrs. Merritt (Janice) Schmidt, Gresham; three sons, Dave (Karlyn), Edina, Minn., Tom (Patricia), Menasha and Dan (Kristen), Woodbury, Minn.; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Randall Neal officiating. Burial will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Soman-Strasser Funeral Home and Thursday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until shortly before the service.
