Judy Wollangk was my first cousin. Our fathers were brothers. You may be sure the Niemuth information from Judy is correct. Both my paternal and maternal lines married into a Niemuth family. The maternal line is Metzig. My maternal line is Wollangk (me), Dolphin, Metzig, Engel, Spiegelberg, and my Wollangk (Wollanke) family line is from Friedersdorf, about 30-50 miles southeast of Berlin, on the German, Polish border. There are many Prussians in the Oshkosh area and though I don't know how many of my ancestors were Prussian, I know the Wollangks are. I have not done enough study to say "my" Augusta Niemuth is the same as yours, but if she is related to Judy, then she is to me also. I'm sorry I didn't respond to this years ago.
