My mom and your grandfather, were brother and sister. To my knowledge, no one knows who Grandma Wierschke's father was. My mom told me that Grandma was raised by her mother Maria's parents because Maria was not married when she gave birth to grandma. Maria later married and died after giving birth to a son. Someone told grandma that Maria was her mother after Maria died. This is what my mom had told me. And Grandma Wierschke died Nov. 19, 1977 not 1979. Wright. Doctor Wright practiced in Antigo from 1910 until 1940, when he passed away. Dr. Wright and his wife Rose had 7 children all of whom grew up in Antigo. (John, Bay, Grace, Mary, Kathleen, Hamilton and Dick.) Dr. Wright practiced in Excelsior WI before moving to Antigo in late 1909. He was a graduate of Rush Medical School. Malinda daughter of George and Margaret Hobbs Spencer born 1886 married George Hillman in 1912. She died in 1939. George died in 1940. They are buried in Bent Cemetery in Langlade County.
