Where did they go by 1860s? I am also researching family of Joseph PETTEY who arrive in Lafayette Co in 1830s from Yorkshire, England. What happened to the children of John PETTEY, son of Joseph, and Almira (HASTINGS) Pettey, daughter of Temperance, after 1870 when John PETTEY died?
