Dear List Members: It is that time of year when many researchers get that first new computer and they begin signing on to the mailing lists by the dozens. They are excited and want to share and become involved overnight. Please be understanding. They will not follow the rules because they do not know them yet. Know that I will be connecting with each of them as they subscribe, letting them know how we run our mailing lists. If something slips through, like a roll call, an advertisement, a political or religious statement, please let it go by without response by you. I will take care of it from this side. I look forward, as you do, to learning what these new researchers might have on our ancestral lines. I do not want to discourage them from sharing, for they just might hold the key for one of us.
