George and Eliza Gould farmed there. George dabbled in mining somewhere in the area. Eliza's brothers were in Shullsburg in that era. Names were Charles and Harrison Brockway. George's son, Marcy Linus Gould was later in Blanchardville. More names: Henry Mill, Charlie Amerpohl (Blanchardville). Later ones went to M.E.Methodist Church in B'ville.
