Dear Mary, Do any of your CAREY families have a John, b. c1852 in Ireland, who married Anna (aka Mary or Sis) Lyons (various spellings), b. c1855 in Missouri, about 1874. She was the daughter of Margaret KENNY LYONS BURKE and step-daughter of John BURKE. John & Anna Carey had several children: Michael Nov 1874 Mamie June 1878 James October 1881 Richard May 1887 Thomas October 1891 Patrick January 1892 Ellen April 1894 Curtis September 1899 - 1902 I have no other info on John/Anna's family. Anna's half-sister, Ellen BURKE (1862-1899), married Daniel MURPHY, s/o Patrick/Margaret, (1868-1935) in 1893 and had 3 children: Ellen May 1894 Margaret Frances March 1896 John May 1899 I have no other info on Ellen/Daniel's family.
