I am looking for information about the family of Charles Dunn. (1799-1872). He was married to Mary Emily Shroeder, lived in the Belmont area and was very active in WI politics of that era. He was the first Supreme Court Justice of the WI Territory and later served in the state legislature. We have found quite a bit of online history about Charles Dunn's political activities but we have minimal information about his family and his children. My ggfather was John Dunn - one of their children I believe that Charles Dunn's brother Francis J. Dunn lived in Iowa Co. WI and his brother Tarelton may have been in the same general area. Our records indicate that Charles Dunn died in 1872 in the Belmont area but we have not found a burial site. Any other information about the family would be of great interest to us. Carol Dunn Tucker
