I'm looking for Michael JOHNSON who may have homesteaded, but definately worked his land near Wiota Township in Lafayette County, Wisconsin. His mother, Karen HANSDATTER VOLLA & Father, Jens JENSEN VOLLA may be listed on that census also, in the same area. Also from another side of the family, but in that same area, we have Hans JOHNSON & his wife, Anna Marthea ELIASDATTER JOHNSON and their children: Harry, Ingeborg, Mary, Edward, and Christian JOHNSON.
