Hi John, I don't know of the Prairie Precinct that you describe in the list. But, I was interested in the fact that your name is Murray and that one of the names that that is one of the names that you are researching. Are you locating your Murray line in Lafayette County? My great great grandmother was Ellen Murray. Unfortunately, I know very little about her. She married Patrick Leahy in Shullsburg in 1851. They lived in the Dublin area, which is three miles south of Darlington. Based on information on her tombstone, she was probably born in 1825 and died in 1872. She appears to have immigrated from Cork. She was probably related to Patrick Murray, who owned the farm next to Patrick Leahy's farm in the Dublin area, and another family member named Ann Murray who married John Higgins in Shullsburg in 1851. Ann Murray and John Higgins were witnesses to the marriage of Patrick Leahy and Ellen Murray. Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated. Terry Doyle
