Don Johns: Saw your query and was wondering if you have any Johns from near Dayton, Ohio. My great great grandmother Mary Eleanor Johns was born 18 March 1831 near Dayton. Her father was Powell Johns and her mother's last name was Williamson. They were both born in Penn. Mary E. Johns married William Knight McFarland 21 April 1852. They moved to Waukon, Iowa where William died and Mary died in Winthrop, Ia 08 March 1922. Any connection??????? james a. nethery ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Johns" <donfromwi@webtv.net> To: <WILAFAYE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 28, 2001 11:44 PM Subject: Re: [WILAFAYE] 1880 Census lookups > Ethel, > My name is Don Johns from Manitowoc, Wi.
