I'm looking for any information about ALEXANDER MCCARTHY. Lived in New Diggings around 1863-1887. His wife's name was Catherine and they had children(that I know of) named John b.c1860 in MA, James b.c1864 in WI, Patrick b.c1873 in WI and Timothy b. Oct 16,1874 in New Diggings. I found them on the 1880 census in WI Lafayette Co. but have not been able to find much else. I know Catherine, James, Patrick and Timothy were in Fall River, MA in the late 1800's with Catherine listed as a widow. Alexander was a lead miner in WI and I was wondering if he died there but can find nothing to verify that. Any information about this family would be greatly appreciated.
