I've "rescued" an old photograph of Pete PLIEMLING which was taken at the Dempsie Studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Pete likely in his 20's or 30's at the time it was taken. In addition to his name, someone has written "Uncle Pete" on the back of the photograph. PLIEMLENG, son, age 5, born WI Catharine GUTGESELL, Mother, age 45, a Gardner, born Luxemburg, parents born Luxemburg 1900 census of Minneapolis, MN: Peter PLIEMLENG, age 32, born Mar 1869, married 7 years, born WI, parents born France, a Railroad Switch Florence PLIEMLENG, wife, age 29, born Aug 1870, married 7 years, no children, born IA, parents born KY Maud CARPENTER, Sister-in-law, age 23, born Mar 1877, married 5 years, 1 child/1 living, born IA, parents born KY, a Dressmaker Lourence CARPENTER, niece, age 3, born May 1897, born MN, parents born ME/IA I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be returned to their care.
