We'd appreciate any help! Let's Meet at Oak Grove Cemetery - People are Dying to Get in! Tuesday, June 23 from 5:30-8 pm; Sat., July 18 9am-noon The June 23 meeting of the Society will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery at 1407 La Crosse Street. We will meet in the cemetery parking lot at 5:30pm and will wrap up by 8 pm, but come when you can and leave when you must. If you arrive after 5:40pm, drive around the older sections of the cemetery to look for Anita for supplies or directions. We will also have a half-day work day at Oak Grove Cemetery Saturday July 18 from 9am-noon. The rain date will be July 25 at the same time. We will concentrate in the older sections of the cemetery which are not far from the parking lot and on even ground (no hills). Choices of activities in our workday include taking digital photographs, verify information from the stones, or cleaning stones. *If you choose to take or help with photography, bring a digital camera. *If you want to verify information that was previously transcribed, then bring writing utensils and a clip board. *If you choose to clean stones, please bring a sprinkling can or bucket you can lift up when filled with water and a soft nylon scrub brush.
