Dr.Edward Evans, the LaCrosse surgeon will leave this month for Europe as a Red Cross worker. Recently he was refused for regular army work because he is past 55 years of age. A daughter Mary is waiting orders to sail with the Red Cross. A son James was wounded as an ambulance driver in France and won the Croix de Guerre. Another son Arthur is with the Italian Army.
