    1. [WILACROS] KEIZER or KAISER Family photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Ivy KEIZER which was taken at the A. C. Isaac Studio in Madison, Wisconsin. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Ivy noted as 1 1/2 years old at the time. In addition to her name, someone has also written "daughter of Mart KEIZER" and "Martin KEIZER born Sept 6, 1851 Ft. Atkinson, WI, lived in N. La Cross, Wis., died in St. Paul" and "Martin "Mart" KEIZER 2nd bro of Elizabeth KEIZER WILSON". Based on limited research I was able to gather the following census information regarding this family: 1880 census of Onalaska, WI: Martin C. KAISER, age 28, a River Log Worker, born IL, parents born Holland Emma KAISER, wife, age 25, Keeping House, born IA, parents born Holland 1900 census of La Crosse, WI: Martin KEIZER, age 48, born Sept 1851, married 20 years, born WI, parents born Holland, an Ice Dealer Emma KEIZER, wife, age 43, born Jul 1856, married 20 years, 4 children/2 living, born IA, parents born Holland Iva KEIZER, dau, age 16, born Oct 1883, born WI, at School Vera KEIZER, dau, age 5, born Mar 1895, born WI Libbie CASE, siser-in-law, age 24, born Dec 1875, born WI, parents born Holland, a Dressmaker I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    3. This is a wonderful thing for you to do. This is not my family, but if it were, I would be so grateful to you. You might consider having it put on the :http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/ by scanning a copy of it. There may be a place on their website or they may be able to refer you to a website in the event that you do not locate this family. Even if you do locate one family member, there may be more than one family member interested in the picture. Good luck!
