It looks like she might have had an office (as a chiropodist) in Winona, MN. Also, it appears she may have been a school nurse in Taylor, WI as well as other places, if the newspaper mentions are the same person you are looking for. I didn't find an obit, but one news article mentioned she had also practiced in Duluth, MN. In the Manitowoc Herald Times, it says: 50 years ago.... Miss Laura M. Chase of Evanston, Ill., will be appointed as city school visiting nurse. The board of education will recommend the appointment of Miss Chase who has worked as public nurse and in school work in Viroqua. She will start with the opening of schools next week.
