Wilhelm Hass Hustisford,Doge County,Wisconsin 1860 Seventy years ago there died in Zuchen by polzin in Pommern a farmer ,Martin Hass,at the age of 82( born in 1708). he had 16 children, his wife was a miss Reglin from Rlubkon.One of his sons Mathais moved to Alt Lanskow and married a miss Groner from Polzin,they had 6 sons and 3 daughters . The youngest of these ,carl Hass,married Justine Ritzke,a daughter of Schultzen Ritzke of Tagerton.To this couple was born on November 8 1818 a son,who was given the name Frederich wilhelm in Holy Baptism.Soon after the wife died and he married her sister Wilhelmina Ritzke. 8 sons & 2 daughters were born by this marriage . I, Frederich Wilhelm, my father's oldest son, became a teacher and obtained a postion in 1841 in Zuchen where my grandfather's father had once lived . My great grandfather had another son whose name was martin hass .He married a widow ,Mrs Groslags tesman. they had 3 sons and 1 daughter .Herietta who became my wife september 30 1842. In the fall of that year,my father Carl Hass passed away in alt Lanskow at the age of 53.In the year 1854,my father -in-law,Martin hass,died in Westerwitz at the age of 73. july 8 1856,I moved to america arriving in watertown.September 9,1856.there i taught school.In the middle of 1856,we moved to hustisford,On the evening of October 6,1860,I was ordained into the Ministry in watertown. 1862 On july 9. He married to maria Magdalena Dieckow, 10/ 22/ 1869 and died 11/8/1910,, leaving 3 sons and four daughters. Hanna maria Ernestine, DOB 2/3/1846, baptized 2/22/1846, comfirmed at hustisford, wisconsin on 4/1/1860 bt rev. william hass. she was married to casper Schild in mormon coulee on 2/3/1865 and died 12/8/1908 leaving 6 sons & 2 daughters . wilhelmina henrietta Elizabeth DOB 7/8/ 1848 bapitzed 7/8/1848 comfirmed at hustisford , wisconsin on april 13, 1862.She married to Christian Schmoker on 5/14/1869 and died at ford doge, Iowa on Aug. 28 1881 , leaving 3 sons & 3 daughters Johann Fredrich wilhelm DOB 5/17/1850, batized 6/2/1850, confirmed 4/2/1865 in st john's church greenfield. he was married 3/28/1877 to Augusta Streeck of the town of Bangor a daughter of edward Streeck. he died 3/13/1925, leaving 2 daughters and 5 sons. Johann martin DOB 3/27/1852, baptized 4/2/1852 .He married to Susannah Betz, sept. 21 1878. he died on 4/3/1923 leaving 4 sons& 7 daughters carl august Ferdinand DOB 8/5/1854, baptized 8/27/1854. he died on 5/3/1858 at the age of 3 years,8 months and 27 days children born in wisconsin Anna Paulina DOB 1/25/1857 at watertown wis. and baptized 2/17/1857. she married to Ferdinand Broitzmann. he died on 4/23/1907 leaving 3 daughters & 2 sons Martha Luize DOB 11/13/1858 at Hustisford Wis. she married to adam Stark, died at pipestone Minn 6/15/1900 Wilhelmenia herietta BOD 4/13/1860 at Hustisford Wis . Died 5/9/ 1929 Reinhold Timotheus DOB 1/12/1862 at Hustisford wis. was baptized 1/24/1862 . he was married to Paulina Bartsch..died 8/23/1946 at the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 11 days , leaving 4 daughter Lucie Charlotte DOB 10/21/1864 in the town of greenfield , La Crosse county wisconsin , baptized 11/4/1864 -- sponsors were peter Kienholz, Mrs Schild,Mrs Schmoker .she was married to Carl Meckelburg, died at OSCEOLA, Wis. on 2/17/1912 leaving 6 sons& 2 daughters john hass Grandfather one brother from barre la crosse county wis Dob 6/13/1841 Lanskow germany DOD 3/6/1928 La crosse wis.
