Hello, I am new to the list and hope I am posting to the right place. I have recently discovered that an ancestor of mine (Mary Berghold) married someone named Conrad Geyer in La Crosse in 1868. I also found that Conrad bought land in La Crosse in 1873. Conrad listed his parents as Caspar and Anna Geiyer. Conrad and Mary had a daughter named Anna Matilda Geyer born approximately in 1872. I am searching for more info on this family and for a more exact birthdate for Anna Matilda. Can anyone tell me what kinds of records are available for this area?
