From "History of La Crosse County, Wisconsin", 1881, p. 738. City of La Crosse EMIL N. BORRESON, was born in Lillehammer, Norway, emigrating in 1868. After following mercantile pursuits for two years, he entered the Batavian Bank as book-keeper, which place he filled with great acceptance, both to the bank and to the public for nine years, until the establishment of the present business of Holley & Borreson.
