I'm reposting a search. My cousins and I are researching the McKinney/McKenney name from northern NY and Maine, and we believe Heman McKinney (age 26, with wife Jane and two daughters Elsa and Hetta) was in the Campbell/LaCrosse area ca 1860 (US census report). Also, a Jane McKenney is listed in the LaCrosse community directory for 1866. Heman was one of ten children, from whom our various cousins are descended. He's the only one of the ten whom we have not located and traced. I'd be grateful for any knowledge of McKinneys/McKenneys in 19th century LaCrosse, and I'll be glad to share information with anyone interested. Thanks in advance. Ted Mills
