Yes, I believe so. My own grandfather William (Bill) Larkin moved to Livingston Montana in the 1920's/1930's. In fact, my mother was born in Livingston. However, my grandfather lost his arm in a railway accident around 1931 and he and his family (his wife Nellie, son Bill and daughter Ellen) had to move back to Minnesota. Also there was a tragic fire in Galesville around 1942 which killed my grandfather's uncle Michael Larkin and his sister Mary Larkin. The fire also consumed the old family homestead. Does any of this sound familiar?
