I've "rescued" two old photographs both belonging to the HUTCHINSON Family of Wisconsin. The first is a photograph of Sapronia A. HUTCHINSON which was taken at the E. R. Curtiss Studio in Madison, WI. The photograph was taken in the 1860's as evidenced by the civil war stamp on the back of the photograph. I'd guess that Sapronia was probably in her teens at the time it was taken. The second photograph is of Aurelia HUTCHINSON and it was taken at the same studio in Madison, WI. I'm guessing that the photograph was taken in the late 1860's or early 1870's and that Aurelia was about 12 years old at the time it was taken. In addition to her name someone has written Mrs. MASON and the word "Bangor" on the back of the photograph. I'm wondering if this means that Aurelia married MASON and lived in Bangor? Bangor, Wisconsin? or Bangor, Maine? or if she became Mrs. Mason BANGOR? Or maybe the photograph was gifted to Mrs. MASON in Bangor? I'm not sure about solving that mystery, however, I'm clear that both girls are members of the HUTCHINSON Family. I'm hoping to locate someone from the family so that these wonderful old treasures can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
