An Obituary in the Batavia Daily Times, Batavia, Genesee Co., NY, of Nancy Hess who died 19 April 1919 Rochester, Monroe Co., NY, names a dau. Agnes Ward of La Crosse, Wisc. I have no information whatever on Agnes Ward. I can detail Nancy Hess' life, but not a dau. Agnes included. This was an unusual find. Alexander Griswold and Sarah Lodema had a dau. Nancy b. 22 Oct. 1846 in Caledonia, Livingston Co., NY. Nancy married at least twice. She had children by Joseph Gibbs, Loan Hess and possibly John Feltman. I have information on her children (sans Agnes). I've been working on this family for many years and there are several interesting twists and turns! Issue: Mary Louise Gibbs m. Agnes-nothing known I did not find an Agnes Ward in Wisc. in the 1910, 1920, 1930 that would fit and have no idea who her husband was. I'm hoping something here means something to a Ward family in Wisc. I'll share whatever I have. Deanna Smith
