Y., March 30, 1826; he moved with his parents to Peoria, Ill., in 1836. Received his education at Shurtleff College, situated at Upper Alton, Ill.; received his medical education at the Eclectic Medical College in Cincinnati, Ohio; removed to La Crosse in 1869, where he has since followed the practice of medicine.
