City of La Crosse JOHN PFLUGER, cooper, corner Third and Ferry streets; has been a resident of La Crosse since July, 1858. He was born in Baden, Germany, in 1829, son of George Pfluger; came to United States in May, 1858, and settled in La Crosse. He was married in Baden in 1856 to Magdalena Simon, and has nine children - Johanna, Florian, Frank, Peter, john, Jacob, Mary, Gertie and Annie, all at home.
