City of La Crosse HANS N. OLSON, cooper and stockholder in the La Crosse Co-operative Barrel Manufacturing Co.; was born in Denmark in 1851; came to the United States in 1870, and has resided in La Crosse ever since, except three years in Chicago working at the plasterer's trade in 1871-72-73. He was married, June 12, 1875, to Abbie Johnson, and has two children - Eddie and Henry W. Mr. Olson has been in his present place of business since the spring of 1880; his father, Ole Nelson, died in La Crosse Aug. 1, 1872. [I am not related to this family and have no further information.
