Hello rooters, Does anyone know of a smallpox epidemic in Juneau Co. abt 1880's. Any suggestions on how I could find out. I have a THomas Nichols that supposedly buried his wife, Cynthia Swift Nichols and four children in Mather, Wi. due to smallpox. I even am told that there is a Nichols family cemetary in Mather where these stones were visited years ago to get dates from stones. Does anyone from the Historical Society know of this cemetary? Did any of you other Juneau Co. rooters lose ancestors in the l882/1883 yrs? Too many questions....I'll stop for now Later, Terry Nichols [email protected]
