INKS, of paralysis of the brain. Funeral sermon by the Reverend Balentine. The remains were laid to rest in the Greenwood cemetery. John D. Inks was born in Elkhart County, Indiana, April 3, 1841, died Jan. 25, 1898, aged 56 years, 9 months and 22 days. He leaves a wife and six children, two boys and four girls, to mourn the loss of a kind husband and loving father. Enlisted as a private in 1862, in Co. K, 30th Regiment, Indiana Volunteers, and served three years.
