Sister McQueen came from Friendship, Adams Co., to this place about one year ago. Although her stay among us was brief, yet she had gained many friends. -- All who saw her, saw her only to love. -- She left a husband and two little children to mourn her loss; but, although they were the only relatives at the grace, they were not the only mourners. All who were acquinted with her, or who saw her in her last sickness, mourned that one so lovely should be taken from our society. Her sufferings were not great; she was sick about eight weeks. Her love to the Savior was deep and unwavering - her last words, in reply to the question, 'do you love Jesus?' was "Yes, I love." Do you feel that Jesus loves you? "Yes, he loves," and she sweetly closed her eyes in death, as the Morning Glory closes its petals with the closing day. Her funeral was attended on the 8th, by the writer. A. B.
