Davis who is listed in the 1875 census from Kildare. According to family lore, Melvin P was born in a covered wagon when the family was moving to Dakota Territory in 1878. I now find it possible that he may have been born while the family lived in Kildare, sometime between 1875 and 1878. My records indicate he was born March 25, 1878 which would seem an unlikely time to be in a covered wagon on the prairies. I would appreciate any and all information someone may supply on the above family while they resided in Juneau County. Thanks
