    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/wEC.2ACE/1432.1.1 Message Board Post: This is the son and his 2nd wife. His parents were David and Phebe. They were listed with him on the 1850 census, age 79 each, then gone by the 1860 census. I can not find them listed in the Juneau Co cemetery books nor can I find them in the Juneau Co cemeteries. I have not found them with any of their children either. I was hoping that some of the descendants might still be in the area, but as yet, have had no luck finding them. I have found a DAR listing of Lake Co, OH cemeteries showing a headstone "Phebe Norton wife of David Norton". However, no record has been found to support the headstone. This is the place they lived before moving to Juneau Co, WI. Family stories tell of Phebe living to the age of 104. If they can be believed, then she would have died around 1875. And it is also possible that at least one of them came back to Ohio. But I have not found them on any census past 1850.
