M. & Charles) Males - Five under Ten - 1 (Jesse) Males - Forty under Fifty - 1 (Garret) Females - Fifteen under Twenty - 1 (age doesn't agree with Amelia's in the 1850 census?) Females - Forty under Fifty - 1 (Lucy Lyons) _____________ 1850 Chemung, Chemung Co, NY Census - October 11, 1850 - Pg. 33/168, Dwelling #121, Family #125 (Living w/John & Katrina? Havens) DECKER Garret - 50 - male - Farmer - $1,000 - b. NY Jesse - 16 - male - Farmer - b. NY G. M. - 13 - male - b. NY Charles - 10 - male - b. NY Amelia - 22 - female - b. NY I was contacted by someone last night that said there is also a daughter Harriet. She may well be the female listed in the 1840 census since her age doesn't agree with Amelia's in the 1850 census. Perhaps Amelia was a housekeeper since Garret's wife was deceased. Garret's wife was Lucy Lyons, daughter of Justus and Anna Buchanan-Lyons. Lucy died 08 Feb 1848. I look forward to hearing from you.
