Married Ondrej Bittner in Opava before 1875. They had three children: Konrad, Julia, and Jakub. Konrad and family immigrated to the USA in 1913/1916, and then to Necedah. In the Sudetenland, the Silesian name Bitnar sometimes turned up as Bittnar or Bittner (a German spelling). Was Swietlik a common Silesian/Polish/Prussian name? Is my great-grandmother Barbara Swietlik related to any of the Swietliks you folks know about? James Bittner 907 Kellogg Ave. Ames, IA 50010
