Justin Palmer Rockwood passed away in Nekoosa on Wednesday, April 21, 1937, at the age of 71 years. Mr. Rockwood was born in the town of Lemonweir March 17, 1866. He married Olive Fletcher Dec. 28, 1898. The couple lived and farmed in Lemonweir. Mrs. Rockwood preceded him in death in September, 1929. Mr. Rockwood left Mauston in 1918 and ran a hotel in Wisconsin Rapids for some time, later moving to Chicago. After the death of his wife, he lived with a son at Dubuque Iowa, until a year ago when he returned to live with his daughter, Mrs. Macklin Raymond. The surviving children are: Mrs. Richard McLean of Nekoosa, Wallace of Dubuque, Murl and Mrs. Leonard Johnson of Chicago, Mrs. Macklin Raymond and Mrs. James Rogers of Mauston; 10 grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. James Neve and Mrs. Frank Clickner, both of Lemonweir; and a brother Harve Rockwood of Neenah also survive. The funeral services were held on Saturday at the home of Mrs. Macklin Raymond and at the Methodist church in this city. Burial was in the Rose cemetery in Lemonweir. Among those from out of the city who attended the last rites were: Mrs. W. W. Rockwood and son of Dubuque; Mrs. Mary Forsythe and Harve Rockwood of Neenah; R. H. McLean and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kuhn of Nekoosa; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lewis of Wisc. Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Fletcher of Vesper; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tierney and Albert Clickner of Madison. Joan M.
